Dodge Durango AEM Brute Force Cold Air Intake
The Dodge Durango is a full-size SUV from Chrysler's Dodge brand. It was introduced in 1998 as a mid-size SUV, and as a replacement for the Ram charger discontinued in the North American market in 1993, and was redesigned for 2004. The Durango was produced at the Newark Assembly plant in Newark, Delaware until the end of 2008. The 2007 model was reworked to halt a sales decline, debuting at the Dallas Auto Show in April 2006. It includes a reworked front clip with a new fascia, grille, hood, and headlamps as well as updated fenders and wheels. New features include electronic stability program, tire pressure monitoring system, rear park assist, and a one-touch turn signal. The 2007 model also has a reworked floor, third-row seats, and electrical system in preparation for the 2009 hybrid version.
The Dodge Durango is a powerful truck right off the dealer's showroom floor but many people want more. One of the easiest and relatively low cost upgrades is to install a Cold Air Intake. A Cold Air Intake will give you more horsepower and torque. One of the best cold air intake systems out there is the Brute Force Cold Air Intake by AEM.
AEM has developed their Brute Force line of intakes for most popular trucks, SUV's and Muscle cars including the Dodge Durango. All Brute Force intakes are Dyno-tested to create more torque and horsepower than any other intake for large displacement engines.
Advanced Engine Management's R&D department has one of the best testing procedures and quality-first manufacturing processes that set their Brute Force intakes apart from the rest. But at the end of the day, what makes their Brute Force intakes different is that they make more torque and horsepower than the competition, and deliver the best filtration and performance available through their DRYFLOW Synthetic filter. They test against them, and won't release a system unless it outperforms all other offerings.
The mechanical engineers emphasize tuning the resonance properties of the inlet pipe to help carry more air to the intake valves. They often route their plumbing so that the filter draws air from the safest and coolest location, and provide a steel powder coated heat shield to shroud the filter from engine heat and road dirt. Every Brute Force Intake that is made is submitted to C.A.R.B. for 50-state exemption, and they are guaranteed for life.
Combine this with the only dry performance filter on the market (DRYFLOW Synthetic filter), complete hardware in every kit, a steel heat shield, reinforced brackets, unmatched looks and a lifetime guarantee, and it's easy to see why Brute Force Intakes "Outperform The Competition."
